Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Germany, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Germany showcased varied performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for these leading applications.

OOONO experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 45.5K in late December. Active users showed a fluctuating pattern, starting from 306.7K and ending the quarter at 365K.

Google Earth maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of 19.8K downloads in late December. The app's active users saw a dip mid-quarter, but recovered to 512.8K by the end of December.

Blitzer.de had consistent download numbers, with a slight increase towards mid-December reaching 18.2K. Active users showed some volatility, peaking at 783.5K in late October but declining to 614.1K by the end of December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, from 14.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 9.6K by the end. Active users, however, increased to 451K mid-quarter before stabilizing around 385.1K.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector achieved steady revenue growth, peaking at $7.3K in the final week of December. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 14K in early December, while active users declined from 132.2K to 87.2K over the quarter.
